<p>N gate circulator, n being greater than 4 for use in the centimetre and millimetre bands of Y type rectangular wave guide circulators, has a cover and metallic base which after assembly forms a parallelepiped block whose two dihedral rectangles, opposite if N is even, adjacent to the larger side, if N is odd, are replaced by two dihedrals of 120 deg. and 150 deg. angles. The base has N openings of rectangular section, whose longer sides are parallel to the longer sides of the base faces, situated between N-2 points of three intersections and the lateral faces of the base to which they are perpendicular and N-3 rectangular section openings, of the same disposition as the preceding with respect to the base, forming with them at each of the three points two 120 deg. angles, the elements at the three points forming the Y section circulator.</p> |
