<p>Probe electrode for measuring cutaneous or other bio-potentials comprises a satd. soln. of a hygroscopic alcalin halide (LiCl) shielded by a neutral semi-permeable membrane and connected via silver contact to a biopotential measurement appts. The membrane prevents occasional skin reactions due to direct contact with the LiCl soln. without introducing parasitic polarisation effects. Rest of construction is amenable to mfr. of small, light weight, sturdy probes.</p> |
