The roller shutter case is mounted in a prefabricated building component serving as a lintel or ceiling element, with one end face bearings for the roller spindle firmly connected to the component and equipped with adjustable parts for holding the spindle lugs. These bearings are in the form of bearing plates, at least one of which is fitted with a guide channel for leading the blind chord through the prefabricated component, this channel being extensible lengthways beyond the dimensions of the guide channel. At the end of the channel, led out of the component, there may be a chord outlet device, and the channel may be cladded with porcelain or similar material. The spindle bearing is stable, durable and adjustable, and needs no serving.
