Wedges 14 fasten baulk 12 to holder 16 on shaft 18 oscillatory mounted at its ends in the loom frame. Tooth 32 first extends parallel to dents 11 and its free end 32a extends towards the dents. A main air nozzle inserts the weft along channel 33. Rail 30 contacts upper warp sheet 21 and has a bore 36 with auxiliary bores 35 and nozzles 37, edge 38 being saw tooth shaped. A fixed warp rest rail 40 contacts lower warp sheet 20. On beating-up, reed 10 moves to the dotted position adjacent fell 26 and temples 27 and teeth 32 leave the shed. In the embodiment of Figures 3, 4 (not shown), warp rest rail has a straight edge (138), teeth 32 and hollow teeth (132) with lateral nozzles (135). In the embodiment of Figure 5 (not shown), the teeth, some of which (232) are hollow and include nozzles (235), are developed as the warp rest rail.</p> |
