<p>Flush damper in the form of a top open water tank where the damper can turn about a horizontal axis to produce a water surge. There is an overflow edge on one side and the rotation can result only in a given range at around 90 deg. More specifically, the horizontal axis of rotation lies between the overflow edge (5) and the centre of gravity of the empty damper (5). It is also approximately vertically below the centre of gravity (6) of the damper which is filled to a given water level (2). Further, there is an additional weight (3) below the axis of rotation. In the upper region of the damper is a horizontal plate. This plate is so arranged that the turning force for tipping is increased.</p> |
