Grill and roasting device made in barbecue style has a hollow chamber with reflecting walls in square or ball shape. It consists of a lower and an upper bowl with inserted grate and a ring-shaped heat radiator extending parallel to the inner wall. At least the upper housing section consists of a wire cage with parallel rings connected by radially positioned wires which correspond to the shape of the housing into which an aluminium foil fitting the housing form may be inserted which has the form of a hood. The aluminium foil can be fixed in position by at least one wire ring which crosses the radial wires of the housing sections.
