PURPOSE:To make good electrical conduction and bonding sure by fitting and pressure-contacting a tubular body having an inside diameter smaller than that of a core metal made of a conductive porous elastic member onto the core metal by way of unset insulation type adhesive agents with respect to the roller used for copying machines, etc. using developing solution. CONSTITUTION:In the elastic roller used for developing, liquid squeezing, etc. of a diazo copying machine, etc., a tubular body 3 of an inside diameter smaller than the outside diameter of a core metal 4 is formed by an elastic member such as polyurethane or other having specific volume resistivity of 10<2> to 10<9>OMEGAcm by mixing carbon powder or the like. The abovementioned tubular body 3 is fitted onto the core 4 made of Al or other whose surface has been coated with insulation type adhesive agents such as epoxy resins or other and the adhesive agents are set while pressure is being applied from the outside. Although the adhesive agents are of insulation characteristic, the electrical conduction between the tubular body 3 and core metal is taken and the bonding is firm. This roller is suited for image-forming apparatus. |
