CONSTITUTION:When the scanning of the original is over, a going stroke relay contact RA1 becomes OFF, and a going stroke electromagnetic clutch MC1 is set to OFF, while a returning stroke relay contact RA2 becomes ON at the same time. At this time, a capacitor C1 is inserted between the base and emitter of a transistor Tr1, and this Tr1 is constituted to be made to conduct after complete charging of C1 so that an electromagnetic clutch MC2 in the returning direction may be actuated. That is, this specified action delay time t is determined by the time constants C1.R1 in the timer circuit. In this course, the light source or original platen runs in the going direction by inertia, and then returns to the scanning start point when the electromagnetic clutch MC2 becomes ON later. Therefore, when the delay time t is set to a duration necessary for eliminating the image on the photoreceptor, the effect of the image on the photoreceptor may be removed. |
