PURPOSE:To obtain the one-side plate inexpensively by closely contacting a plastic non-metallic magnetic to at least one side of the material to be plated and performing plating. CONSTITUTION:The metal plate to be plated 1 which has beforehand been produced to the required width and thickness is placed thereon with a plastic non-metallic metal magnet having the same surface size as this, e.g., rubber magnet 2. In the state where the both of these are in close contact by strongly and magnetically attracting to each other, plating is done, after which the rubber magnet 2 is peeled from the metal plate 1', by which the one-side plated metal plate 1' is obtained. In the case of treating a long-length material, the use of, e.g., rubber magnet 2, in the form of an endless belt makes possible the operation of high performance and also permits the reduction of the use amount of the rubber magnet. If the material to be plated is non-magnetic metals, another rubber magnet 2 is placed on both edges of one surface or the end part of the broad rubber magnet 2 is folded back and the metal plate is sandwiched by the attraction force of this magnet, thence plating is done. |
