PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for correcting the part which is desired to see most, by starting the correction from the important range of a picture, that is to say, the range of the center part, etc. of a picture, and correcting other part after said range has been completed. CONSTITUTION:The start and end addresses of the vertical range are set to the circuit 6 in order to provide the range designated to the vertical address counter 2 of the picture memory 1 at the receiving side. Also, in the same way, the start and end addresses of the horizontal range are set to the circuit 7 in order to provide the range designated to the horizontal address counter 3. The range of a picture which is desired to see earliest is made by the circuits 6, 7, an error is detected from this range, the address of this detected error is retransmitted to the transmission side, and the transmission error is corrected at the transmission side. |
