PURPOSE:To improve the assembling properties of a step motor for a timepiece and reduce magnetic loss as well as improve the conversion efficiency, by providing either a winding core or a stator with bent parts at the end parts thereof and in the thicknesswise direction, and contacting the winding core and the stator to each other through the outer surfaces of the curved parts. CONSTITUTION:A stator 12, which has a long and narrow plate shape and a hollow 27 in the center, is integrally welded with a splint plate 25. In the hollow 27, a rotor 13 is provided, and the upper shaft thereof is rotatably supported by means of a bearing 26 provided to the splint plate 25, while the lower shaft thereof is rotatably supported by means of a bearing provided to the main plate. A coil winding core 21 is wound with a coil 31 and bent 180 downward at both ends. The winding core 21 contacts with the stator 12 through the lower surface thereof as the outer surface of each bent part 21b to constitute a magnetic circuit. The winding core 21 and the stator 12 are fastened to the main plate through screws 14 which are passed through through-holes are screwed in screw holes so as to be integrally secured. Thereby, it is possible to obtain a timepiece step motor which is spacially compact having a three dimensional configuration. |
