PURPOSE:To ensure the proper feed even for a thick original, by constituting an upper side transport mechanism so as to move in parallel and vertical to an original transport path. CONSTITUTION:When a thick original 21 is manually set along an original board 22, the original 21 touches both an upper side drive roller 4 and a front side suborinate roller 6. Otherwise the original 21 having larger thickness touches a slant part 12b of an upper guide member 12 to produce the force lift the member 12. Accordingly the member 12 turns on pivots 17b and 18b, and an upper guide surface 12a forms a gap to allow the transport of the original 21 with the parallel position kept to a lower guide surface 1a of a guide member 1. Then the surface 12a moves upward. As a result, the original 21 is properly transported. |
