PURPOSE:To provide a roll for production of amorphous metal of high abrasion resistance by forming a Cr film on the surface of a roll consisting of a metallic material which is solid at a room temp. CONSTITUTION:Hard chrome plating of 0.003-0.3mm. thicknesses is carried out on the surface of a roll consisting of any one material of copper and a copper alloy, aluminum and an aluminum alloy, iron and an iron alloy or a combination of the two of these. The roll which has good heat conductivity, is hard to scratch and is highly durable is obtained by this. |
