The invention relates to a differential amplifier having two different emitter resistors. To compensate for positive or negative temperature coefficients of resistors in the analog signal processing or to generate or to compensate for positive or negative variations of currents with temperature, the high temperature coefficient of integrated resistors is utilised in such a manner that the different emitter resistors generate a positive variation of the collector currents with temperature in one branch and a negative variation of the collector currents with temperature in the other branch. <IMAGE>
