PURPOSE:To give full play to the function of a press bending apparatus by constituting a carrying device for worked steel plate in a press bending apparatus for steel plate of a frame that moves on a guide rail and a worked steel plate supporting arm provided on the frame. CONSTITUTION:A steel plate 4 to be press-bent is carried by a crane etc. on a frame 7 and placed on the upper face of an electromagnet attached to the tip of a supporting arm 8 of the frame 7. After positioning the steel plate correctly on the reference line of working, the steel plate is attracted by sending current to the electromagnet, and the plate is grasped on the supporting arm 8. Then, the frame 7 is moved on the rail 5 and shifted into the frame 2 of the working apparatus 1. After positioning the steel plate 4 correctly to the working position, a line of hydraulic punches of lower pressing mechanism 3b is raised against desired generating curved surface given to a line of punches of upper pressing mechanism 3a. Press-bending is performed by pressing the steel plate against the upper line of punches that form above-mentioned generating curved surface. After completion of work, the worked steel plate 4' is attracted by the supporting arm 8 of the frame 7, and carried out from the press-bending apparatus 1. |
