PURPOSE:A bundle of staple fibers are passed through two different vortex flow nozzles which cause vortex flows in reverse directions to each other to make a spun yarn with high yarn strength and good appearance, because of its less fluffs. CONSTITUTION:A bundle of staple fibers that has been drafted into a prescribed thickness is passed through two vortex nozzles N1 and N2 in which the directions of the vortex flows are reverse to each other. The number of balloon rotation of the yarn caused by the first nozzle N1 is represented by n1 and that by the second nozzle N2 by n2 and the air pressure is set so that n1 is small than n2. The yarn separated from the staple fiber bundle is made to winding around the fiber bundle positively between the front rollers and the first nozzle N1 to give the spun yarn. |
