PURPOSE:To manufacture a variable power or unmagnification copying machine at low cost, by incorporating units of an optical exposing device and a driving device in combination in a machine frame incorporating picture processing units. CONSTITUTION:One machine body M has a box-shaped machine frame 1 having an opening atop and in this, a charging electrode 3, developing device 4, transfer electrode 6, cleaning device 7, fixing device 8, etc., are incorporated as picture processing units around a photosensitive drum 2; and upper and lower stages of fitting channels 12A and 12B and guide rails 13A and 13B are provided on the internal surfaces the side plates 10 and 11 of the frame 1 nearly horizontally. A light shielding plate A for variable power copying or a light shielding plate for unmagnification copying is fixed between the fitting channels 12A and 12B, and one of two optical exposing devices is extended on between the guide rails 13A and 13B while a corresponding driving unit is fixed to the side plate 11. |
