PURPOSE:To seal an optical part for a laser which has a dielectric film by adhering Au to the end face of a laser tube and the surface of the optical part for the laser, selectively heating the adhering surface and an In, thereby melting it. CONSTITUTION:After the sealing surface of a laser tube 4 made of Pyrex glass is polished, Au is adhered in the thickness of 0.2-0.4mu. A window plate 6 of ZnSe has a dielectric film for preventing the reflection of the surface, and Au 7 is deposited in a ring shape on the sealing surface in the thickness of 0.2-0.4mum. An In wire 8 of 0.5mm. dia. is sealed on the outer periphery of a sealer, thereby forming a closed loop. A room 1 is evacuated in vacuum, and high frequency current is flowed by a coil 9 to the Au 5, 6 and In 8, thereby selectively heating them. The temperature of the sealer is observed by a detector 10 through a window 3, and the current of the coil 9 is maintained constantly at 250 deg.C. After sealing, no transmission loss is produced, and no thermal damage is present in the ZnSe plate. |
