PURPOSE:To permit to remove scale in the superheating tube efficiently by a method wherein the movement of the peripheral direction and the holding of a nozzle position is effected by a tension rope attached to an inserting shaft. CONSTITUTION:Two pieces of tension ropes 10c, 10d are taken out of a feeder 9', attached around one of the inspection holes 2 of a header 1, through the other inspection hole 2 and are connected to the tip end of the inserting shaft 5. The inserting shaft 5 is inserted into the header 1 through the inspection hole 2 under a condition that a supporting arm 8 is tilted forwardly by hand against a spring 84 and a pivoting arm 7 is also titled into a split 78. After receiving the inseting shaft 5 into the header 1, the pivoting arm is elevated to the orthogonal direction by pulling a wire 5C by means of a wire operating unit 14, a wire 75a is pulled by the wire opeating unit 14 to push up a nozzle 6 through elevating levers 73, 74 at this position, the tip end of the nozzle is inserted into and pushed to an opening hole 4 and cleaning water is sent by pressure from a water feeding unit 13 through a hose 11. |
