PURPOSE:To improve the service of an exchange network and to ensure emergent communication economically by replacing an important terminal of an exchange station whose exchange function is stopped into other normal exchange station with a line between stations. CONSTITUTION:When an exchange 10 is stopped for the exchange function, a controller 14 informs the information and transmits it to a switching controller 15. The controller 15 brings a notice line 32 into the calling stage and connects specific terminals 12A, 12B to lines 31A, 31B between stations. On the other hand, the calling state of the notice line 32 is detected at the exchange 20 side so as to change the connection of the lines 31A, 31B between stations to a prescribed terminal allocating position of a channel network 21. Thus, the specific terminals 12A, 12B of the exchange 10 side make calling and communication to general terminals 22A, 22B via the channel network 21 of the exchange 20 side and to other stations through an OGT. |
