PURPOSE:To increase the output of a water wheel by connecting a number of cross-flow water-wheels in tandem and arranging said connected body in parallel with a water channel and installing each duct in the water channel divided in accordance with the number of water wheels. CONSTITUTION:In case of three water-wheels, the first water wheel 1', second water-wheel 2', and the third water-wheel 3' are equipped with casings 2', 2'', and 2''' respectively. Each water-wheel duct 5', 5'', and 5''' is equipped with the inlets in equal number of water wheels in parallel to a water channel, and said duct is led to each water wheel. Ducts 5', 5'', and 5''' are partitioned by partitioning plates 6 and 7, and the necessary amount of water for water wheel is introduced. The water which flows into the water wheel revolves the water wheel, and a power generator 10 is driven by the water wheel, and electric power can be obtained. |
