PURPOSE:To arrange an inexpensive radiant ray monitoring device over a wide range by using an optical fiber for a radiant ray sensor of the radiant ray monitoring device or as an optical fiber for another purpose in common. CONSTITUTION:When an optical fiber 13 as a transmission line is irradiated with radiant ray 12 generated by a radiant ray generator 11, the loss of light power transmitted in the optical fiber 13 increases with the dose of said radiant ray 12 and a decrease in optical reception level is detected as a phenomenon by an optical receiver 17. This decrease in optical reception level is displayed as the radiant ray dose of the optical fiber 13 on a radiant ray monitoring part 19 by a calibration arithmetic expression calculated previously by the characteristic of the optical fiber 13. |
