PURPOSE:To prevent a scatter of toner, noise, and oscillation by rotating and pressing an elastic roller, and wiping toner which sticks to the surface of a recording body. CONSTITUTION:The elastic roller 1 rotates against the rotation of a photosensitive body 7 to wipe toner 8 from the photosenitive body 7. The wiped toner 8 is carried while caught in bubbles of foamed polyurethane constituting the elastic roller 1. The elastic roller 1 carrying the toner 8 faces a bias roller 2 and an electric field E operates thereupon; and the positive electrostatically charged toner 8 is attracted to the bias roller 2 electrostatically and removed from the elastic roller 1. Then, the bias roller 2 attracted the toner 8 is equipped with a blade 4 which is pressed against its peripheral surface, and the toner 8 is scraped with the blade to fall in a toner receiver and then collected by a discharge auger 3. |
