PURPOSE:To miniaturize the captioned air cleaner, increase an inertia effect, and improve a silencer effect by housing plural suction pipes in an air cleaner case, each of the suction pipes connecting the air cleaner to a carburetor, and disposing air cleaner elements among the suction pipes. CONSTITUTION:The captioned air cleaner comprises upper and lower cases 17, 18 provided by partitioning a case 16 of the air cleaner 12. An element 14 is held between a bottom plate 17a of the lower case 17 and a partition plate 19, and the lower end of a suction pipe 13 is mounted on the bottom plate 17a of the lower case via an elastic bracket 23. The upper part of the air cleaner is opened into the upper case 18 to form a filtrated air intake vent 24 for absorbing the outside air that passes through the element 14. Hereby, the outer wall of the cleaner 12 surrounding the element 14 can be projected from a space combining a central line between the suction pipes to increase the length of the suction pipe in the cleaner case. Thus, an inertia effect can be increased while the volume of the air cleaner case can be sufficiently enlarged together with the improvement of a silencer effect. |
