PURPOSE:To provide a product clear of bubbles with a uniform thickness with an easy manufacture of a mold by placing a powdered resin in fluid into a heated mold to produce a melted resin layer, which is cooled to make a skin material. CONSTITUTION:A powdered resin in fluid is shifted into a mold heated to a produce a melted resin layer, which then, is cooled and solidified to obtain a skin material. For example, a powdered resin 18 such as polyvinylchloride is charged into a retaining tank 1 and a mold 5 heated up to about 300 deg.C is clampled so as to close the opening 2 of the retaining tank 1 with the molding surface 5a downward. When fed into a chamber S2 through an air introduction port 6 of the retaining tank 1, air enters a chamber S1 through a filter 7, where the powdered resin 18 is fluidized as if floated. Thereafter, a motor 15 is driven to turn the retaining tank 1 by about 270 deg.. In this manner, the powdered resin 18 contacting the molding surface 5a of the mold 5 is melted to form a melted resin layer 19. Then, the mold 5 is cooled until the melted resin layer 19 is solidified to obtain a skin material. |
