PURPOSE:To provide a printer facilitated in the location of a cassette and the handling thereof, by providing a fixing means for fixing the movement in three-directions to a mount member for mounting an ink ribbon receiving member and a means for energizing said member to the direction reverse to a fixing direction. CONSTITUTION:Ribbon frame 4 is provided on a carriage 4 and projections 4a, 4b are provided to said frame 4. The projection 4a acts on the location of a cassette in the up-and-down direction and the projection 4b acts on the positional determination of the cassette in the left-and-right direction along with the lateral surface 4c of the ribbon frame 4. A cassette lever 5 is operated when the cassette 7 on the ribbon frame 4 is detached and a leaf spring 6 raises the cassette 7 mounted on the ribbon frame 4 upwardly. At this time, the projection 4a prevents the leading end of the cassette 7 from rotating downwardly. The cassette 7 has the hole 7a engaging with the projection 4b. By this constitution, the positional determination of the cassette in the up-and-down direction is easily realized. |
