PURPOSE:To separate culls efficiently by a method wherein an IC portion and a cull portion are separated from each other, the IC portion alone is carried out first, and then the cull portion is put forcedly on a belt used exclusively therefore and is discharged thereby. CONSTITUTION:A cull portion 4 of an IC frame, which is carried in by an IC conveyor belt 14, is pushed up by a lower block 20 as it rises, and is held between and raised by this block and an upper block 21. In this state, a cull- separating block 22 is lowered and thereby an IC portion 1 is separated from the cull portion 4 and dropped onto the belt 14. Then, a frame conveyor belt 23 is lowered, and the IC portion 1 is held between by the belts 23 and 14 and carried out into a subsequent process. Meanwhile, the cull portion 4 left between the upper and lower blocks 20 and 21 is put on a conveyor belt 18 with the lowering of the block 20 so as to be discharged into a discharge box 24. |
