PURPOSE:To improve processing speed, by designating a program module symbol which executes a page-in, and a page-out in a program in advance, and storing the symbol in a page-in register, and a page-out register. CONSTITUTION:In the titled system, a page-in register 51 which stores the symbol of a program module that executes the page-in from a processor 1, and a page-out register 52 which stores the symbol of the program module that executes the page-out, are provided, and a page managing mechanism 4 performs a control whether logic address corresponding to the symbols of the program modules stored in those registers 51 and 52, exist in a main memory 2 or not, by referring a page table 6. In such way, it is possible to eliminate a load on an application program, and to control a paging from the application program.
