PURPOSE:To decrease a traveling sound by forming a rib pattern with specifying each width of a trad, main groove, shoulder-lug groove, and center-lug groove, and each tilt angle of the center-lug groove and the shoulder groove in radial tires for vehicles. CONSTITUTION:A tread pattern based on a rib pattern is formed on a tread 1 with three main grooves 4, a center-lug groove 5, and a shoulder-lug groove 7. In this case, it is set so that respective values of A/W, B/W, C/W, D/W, and E/W, and further of alpha and beta come to the specified values shown in the formula I where: W: tread width, D: shoulder-lug groove width, C: main groove width, E: center-lug groove width, alpha,beta: mean angle of center-lug groove 5 and shoulder-lug groove 7 to tire circumferential derection respectively. B,A: project ed length of center-lug groove 5 and shoulder-lug groove 7 to tire width direction respectively. This constitution enables a low noise in a road traveling without a decrease in a snow traction. |
