Circuit configurations are known in which regulation of a fan is performed with the help of a temperature-dependent resistor. However, in these a negative-temperature-coefficient thermistor is used, which is located in the power lead to the fan motor, thus heating the equipment to be cooled more, and which also has insufficient regulating properties. The invention is intended to show a simple and effective fan regulation system. A capacitor (5) is connected in series with the fan motor (2), forming a resonant circuit with the inductor of the motor (2). The resonant circuit is damped by a PTC resistor (8) located in the air discharge flow (9). The fan regulation system can be used in any equipment to be cooled by a fan, in particular in electronic equipment. <IMAGE>
