The chamber consists of a container with insulated walls which can be hermetically sealed, and has access doors for loading with bales of straw. The container is connected to a fan, heating box, expansion chamber which can also be heated and is connected to a tank of ammonia under pressure. The fan aid intermediate box produce a natural circulation of ammonia gas at ambient temp. and then a hot forced circulation by activation of the heater and fan. |
