<p>Although packing means for rolls of sensitive material, like light-sensitive photosetting material, wound on a rigid core, shaped like stiff circular-cylindrical tubes with closing means and centering means for the roll at both ends are known, nevertheless still primitive packaging is surprisingly used throughout. It results in damages of the material and difficulties during packing at the manufacturer, unpacking at the consumer, both in absolute darkness, and during storage. The invention solves all these problems by providing tubes (7) cut at the required length, closing them with simple and reliable securing means (20), like bajonet fittings and standardised end-rings (8), fitted to the tube (7). Also stockholding of the packing-parts for the manufacturer of the sensitive material is reduced considerably.</p> |
