PURPOSE:To enlarge a hollow portion so as to improve cushiony feeling and/or drivability, in a hollow wheel used for a manually driven rice planting vehicle or the like, by attaching a tire made of elastic material to a circular rim, and forming the hollow portion with the circular rim and the tire. CONSTITUTION:A hollow wheel is, for example, used for a manually driven rice planting vehicle, and thereat, a pin inserting hole 8 is formed in a boss 5 disposed on an axle. In addition, a circular rim 1 is connected to the boss 5 via plural spokes 9, and also a tire 2 is attached around the whole circumfer ence of the circular rim 1. In this case, rim covering portions 12 are respectively formed on the right/left side portions 11, 10 of the tire 2, and also plural propul sion lugs 13 are formed in the grounded peripheral portion. And then, a hollow space 3 is formed with the tire 2 attached around the rim 1 and the outer periph ery of the rim 1. Therefore, the hollow space 3 can be largely formed, thus improving the cushiony feeling, drivability or the like of the hollow wheel.
