PURPOSE:To improve the sharpness, the graininess, the color reproducibility and the desilvering property of the sensitive material, and to obtain the color photosensitive material having the high sensitivity by incorporating a specified compd. in the sensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photographic sensitive material contains at least one kind of the compd. shown by formula I wherein A is a group having a bond with a residual group except the group A itself to be cleaved by a reaction with the oxidant of a developing main agent, L is a group having a bond with X to be cleaved after the cleavage of a bond between L and A, X is oxygen or sulfur atom or -N-R2 group, Y and Z are each methine group or nitrogen atom, PUG1 and PRG2 are each a photographic useful group, R1 is a substituting group capable of binding with carbon atom through hydrogen or carbon atom, R2 is a substituting group, (a) is 0 or 1, (b) is an integer of 1-3. When (b) is plural numbers, the numbers (b) of groups Y and the numbers (b) of groups Z are each the same or the different with each other. Thus, the sharpness, the graininess, the color reproducibility and the desilvering property of the sensitive material are improved, and the material having the high sensitivity is obtd. |
