The equipment is located in a heat-insulated chamber resting on two sills which in turn are located on frost-free ground. On the walls of the chamber are suspended facade plates with an adequate gap for air exchange. The gap is required to be approx. 10 cms so that air flow is not arrested by friction against the wall or plate. Gable points are formed as broken-through screens, and through them passes warm air rising in the gap. To increase cooling, the plates are painted white or other light colour, thus increasing sun ray reflection, and reducing energy absorption. A cooling and heat coil is incorporated, comprising a tube filled with fluid circulated by a pump. The fluid absorbs or emits heat in the chamber, and transfers it to the surroundings. |
