PURPOSE:To always obtain a satisfactory image without environmental conditions in mind by automatically turning on a pretransfer exposure lamp in a high humidity of high temperature environment through the use of a humidity sensor or a temperature sensor. CONSTITUTION:The pretransfer exposure lamp PTL4 is provided upstream of a transfer unit 6, and by the temperature sensor 22 or the humidity sensor 21, on/off-controlled. Namely, in the middle of copying, a control part 20 controls the PTL4 to be turned on/off according to the humidity information of the humidity sensor 21 provided in the title electrostatic recorder. When a relative humidity is low, for instance the PTL4 does not light up. However, in a high relative humidity, the PTL4 lights up to a prevent a decrease in transfer efficiency. Thus, an operator can make a copy without environmental conditions is mind. |
