REFORMATION OF TEMPORARY INK RESERVOIR MEMBER OF WRITING UTENSIL

PURPOSE:To ensure that a temporary ink reservoir member which has a superior function and stability with time by irradiating an ABS resin injection-molded product with radiation. CONSTITUTION:A temporary ink reservoir with a comb tooth-like vertical cross section and a temporary ink reservoir with a longitudinal slit which connects with the former are manufactured using injection-molding ABS resin. The clearance of the temporary ink reservoir is about 0.17 to 0.23mm wide and the width becomes larger toward the nib. In addition, the slit is about 0.11mm wide. The temporary ink reservoir is placed in a closed irradiation device using <60>Co and is irradiated with radiation for about 0.5hr in an air atmosphere.
