The driving apparatus continuously or temperarily adjusts the milling process speed according to the strength, the shape or the property of the metallic workpiece. The milling machine driver comprises a low speed motor (1) adjusting the rotational speed and direction by use of an input switch (a), an inverter (b), a rotary volume switch (3) and a three-step adjusting selector (D); a high speed motor (E) connected with a power transmission ger (5') and operated by a powr transmission clutch (4); a pair of switches (G,G') fixed to a mobile table (10); a mobile switch (H) being contactable with one fixed switch (G) and positioned on the mobile table (10); limit switches (H',H") contactable with another fixed switch (G').
