PREHEATER CONTROL METHOD FOR OZONE DECOMPOSITION EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To maintain catalyst activity by performing energy-saving operation restraining a preheater installed in the prestage of catalytic ozone decomposition equipment from excess electrical heating while preventing the deterioration due to moisture in an ozone decomposition catalyst filled into the ozone decomposition equipment. CONSTITUTION:On the outlet side of a preheater 4 installed in the prestage of ozone decomposition equipment 2, are provided a moisture meter 5 and a thermometer 6 to measure the humidity and temp. of exhaust ozone gas. Taking the measured values as parameters, the electricity turned on in the preheater is controlled by a controller 7 so that gas delivered to an ozone decomposition catalyst 3 may be at appropriate humidity and temp.
