VELOCITY SENSOR COEFFICIENT CALCULATION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To correct a velocity sensor coefficient different from vehicle models into a coefficient in matching with each vehicle quickly with high accuracy after the device is mounted on the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A ratio of a shortest distance between two points measured by a GPS and calculated by a GPS position calculation means 104 to a shortest distance estimated positions calculated by an estimate interposition shortest distance calculation means 106 is obtained for each GPS reception. The obtained distance ratios are stored in plural recording means 108, and when number of the distance ratios reaches a recording number decided for each recording means 108, a calculation means 111 obtains a mean value of the distance ratios to be recorded and a product of the mean value multiplied with a velocity sensor coefficient by a calculation means 114 is used for a new velocity sensor coefficient.
