PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive cutter for a shape steel, which is simple in structure, lightweight, easy to handle in cutting or carrying, and requires no large operating force for cutting. SOLUTION: A shaft pin 4 and a locking pin 6 are provided on a blade attachment plate 2 erected at one end of a base frame 3. A movable blade 5 with an operation handle 51 is pivoted on the shaft pin 4. In addition, a locking pin engaging incision 82 and a shaft pin engaging incision 83 capable of engaging with/disengaging from the locking pin 6 and the shaft pin 4 of the plate 2 are formed on a fixed blade 8 forming a pair with the movable blade 5, and locking them with the blade attachment plate 2 by a one-touch operation to allow the fixed blade 8 to be mounted on the plate 2 by a one-touch operation only by locking the incisions 82 and 83 of the fixed plate 8 with the shaft pin 4 and the locking pin 6. Thus, it is easy to replace a damaged fixed blade 8 or exchange to a fixed blade 8 conforming to a size of a shape steel, allowing a smooth cutting operation without a hitch.
