Phthalocyanine dyes and their preparation and use

Phthalocyanine dyes of general formula (II) and, in particular, of general formula (III) wherein R₁-R₈, R₉-R₁₂, Me, M, m, n , o and p are as defined in the specification, are excellent dyes for dying and printing cellulose containing materials and textile materials, and, especially, for the preparation of inks for ink jet printing.
