<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dc gas isolator which suppresses movement of linear foreign matters, and improves insulation reliability by a trap unit capable of effectively removing the linear foreign matters. <P>SOLUTION: A high-voltage conductor 2 is divided into three portions in an axial direction, such as divided high-voltage conductors 20a, 20b and 20c, and junctions of each conductor are tightened by bolts. A shield 20e which is nearly semicircle in side face is arranged at and electrically connected to a recess of the high-voltage conductor 20b of an H type in cross section, wherein the shield is provided with gaps at both ends of the recess. The gaps are called slot portions d1 of 1 mm or more which are provided at both sides of the shield 20e, and extended to a circumferential direction of the high-voltage conductor 20b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
