PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate gain correction data relative to volume data collected by a three-dimensional scan. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic diagnostic equipment is so formed that a biotissue region determination section 82 of a gain correction data generation section 8 determines a biotissue region, or a diagnosis object, based on S/N and dispersed values of ultrasonic data collected from each of a plurality of sliced sections in a gain correction scan mode for generating the gain correction data relative to the volume data, and a gain correction map generation section 83 generates a two-dimensional gain correction map applying a least squares method to the average value of ultrasonic data in each of a plurality of regions set by dividing the biotissue region into a prescribed dimension. An interpolation process section 84 interpolates the gain correction map generated to each of the plurality of sliced sections in a slice direction to generate three-dimensional gain correction data corresponding to each voxel of the volume data.
