PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary machine capable of solving the difference in air pressure between the inside and outside of a hermetically sealed housing and achieving waterproofness. SOLUTION: A through hole 25 for communicating the inside and outside is provided on a part of the housing 5, and a ventilation sealing member 26 for covering the through hole 25 so as to allow ventilation and to prevent permeation of water is provided.
