PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric rice cooker which achieves the compactness of the container body by providing a screw fixing boss for fastening the bottom member at a coil stand and by forming a space for rearranging other parts to the side part space between the outer case and the inner case. SOLUTION: An electric rice cooker has a container body having the inner case that forms the inner wall, the outer case that forms the outer wall and a bottom member that forms the bottom part, a lid member which is freely openable and closable against the container body, an inner pan which is stored into the inner case, a flat coil as a heating means, and a coil stand that supports the flat surface coil. In this electric rice cooker, fastening bosses to fasten the bottom member with screws are provided at a plurality of places at the position in the region of the bottom diameter of the coil stand and also of the inner pot, and the bottom member is fastened with screws to the coil stand.
