PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send an optional message from a patient to an optional PHS (Personal Handyphone System) terminal. SOLUTION: A database server 4 for managing messages irrelevant to an appointment management table of a hospital information system is configured to receive a message and PHS specification information input from a patient terminal 1, forward the received message and PHS specification information to a nurse call system 5, and send a message from the nurse call system 5 to the specified PHS terminal 6. This constitution can inform the optional message input by the patient terminal 1 to an optional PHS terminal 6 according to the PHS specification information input by the patient terminal 1 without being restricted by an association between a nurse in charge and the patient, which are associated one-to-one or one-to-plurality by table information provided in the nurse call master machine 11 and without requiring interlock with the appointment management table.
