<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven power steering device that can properly suppress vibration transmitted from a motor to an ECU even when the ECU and the motor are arranged close to each other. <P>SOLUTION: A control unit 19, which includes at least a control board 25, a power module board 23, and a protection cover 26, is mounted on a reduction gear box 4. The power module board 23 is directly mounted on the control unit mounting surface 20a of the reduction gear box 4 and connection terminals of an electric motor 5 are electrically connected directly to the control unit 19. Then, a vibration-damping member 26a, as a vibration-damping mechanism which prevents the control unit 19 from resonating by the vibration from the electric motor 5, is mounted on a surface having the largest area of the protection cover 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
