<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflector capable of forming luminous intensity distribution which is bright, uniform and has a clear boundary at its end. <P>SOLUTION: The reflector 7 has a rotationally symmetrical form, at least one end side of which in an axial direction forms an opening, reflects light from a light source by a reflection surface 8 formed by its inside and radiates the light outside out of the opening. In the reflector 7, the reflection surface 8 is constituted of a plurality of segments 9 which are obtained by dividing the reflection surface 8 with a definite angle α in a direction around an axis and dividing the reflection surface 8 with different length in an axis direction and which are arranged so as to have different tilt angles toward the axial direction. Further individual segments 9 are formed to a spherical trapezoid having a linear cross section in the axial direction. Thereby the luminous intensity distribution which is based on a stack of perfect circular luminous intensity distribution formed by respective segment rows continuing in the direction around the axis and which is bright, uniform and has a clear boundary at its end can be achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
