A rotary shaft for a frontloading washer and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to produce the rotary shaft by pressing a hollow pole, thereby reducing the weight of the rotary shaft and cutting processes. A rotary shaft(20) for a frontloading washer comprises bearing units(22,23), a gear unit(21), a serration unit(24), and a hollow unit(25). The bearing units are installed on a water tub(11). The gear unit rotates with a drum(12) installed in the water tub. The serration unit rotates with a motor(13) transmitting power to the drum. The hollow unit forms a space inside the rotary shaft. |
